I like Grado.... how about the Alessandro MS Pro?

Any 'phones with a warm, forward sound, that doesn't roll the treble? That's kind of where I'm looking. Or... is that the RS-1?

Also... I'd need a source to go with the RA-1. Is an Aria/RS-1 relationship not good? Note: I'm still taking amp, source, and headphone suggestions... I'm not sold on the Aria. It just sounds like a good solution for me right now.

I need an education in the whole package.

Fine, I guess I'll just have to do further research myself and ask questions later.

I guess this has saved me a bit of time though.

Thanks for the help guys. (no sarcasm intended)

Have you heard a Grado before? Because Grado's are really a love'em or hate'em sort of thing. My suggestion, if you want to buy grado, go try them first. If you like them, by all means BUY the rs-1/ra-1 combo. Your ears will love you, but your wallet will hate you

how about a 595, a detailed ss amp that adds bass/impact, and some silver plated copper ICs?

i would say cd3000 but they arent in production anymore and since i cant find a pair, i dont want you going around looking for a pair that might be mine
