Thanks so much for these DAC suggestions PA. Source is primarily a Macbook Air.

I also play vinyl through a phono preamp. Any opinion on running that through a Fulla 2 (bypassing DAC) vs. Magni?

Apple products usually come with a decent built in DAC function.
And as the 300-Ohm Massdrop (Sennheiser) HD6XX are considered to scale up better, with more power, best to put all your audio budget for the best head amp possible.
You can always buy a DAC at a later date.
