Is it even necessary, to have a full sized amp, in terms of achieving better SQ? With the explosion of portable amps in the market, from affordable Fiio amps to totl Wagnus, most people generally just use them, even for home listening. I have briefly tried a friend's tube amp with my 1plus2, although with noticeable hiss, it sounded great! Much fuller and deeper sounding than my portable amp. 
 
Anyone have more experience on this?

I'm using the WA7 for IEMs. Actually, I'm using it for everything, big or small.
