Hello, a friend is going to be in China for several weeks for the Olympics. He said he would be willing to look for Yuin earbuds for me (either PK1 or OK2). What would be the best place to look for them, and what should I expect him to have to pay (so I can give him money). Anyone from China here?

China is a really big place you know, but I guess you mean Beijing instead of China in general.

The main Yuin distributor is located in Shanghai, but there is a official deal locate in Beijing. Unfortunately I didn't find the information in English, but I'll show you their website anyway (here).

If you want, you can email them: zeissck@hotmail.com
Company name: 橡叶音响
Address: 北京市 朝阳区 双桥路2号 水岸双桥底商
(you'll need Simplified Chinese encoding on your browser to read the word correctly)

Thank you for your help. Would they be carried in regular audio shops in Bejing? Department stores?

Department stores? Probably not. Hi-fi stores may be. Try big shopping malls, maybe you friend can find them in those if you are lucky.
