Theres plenty of black widows out here in Vegas. They are a pretty common sight and usually I see a couple of them hanging around my front door. If you see a big one, then stomp on it. The smaller black widows are usually males and harmless.
There was this one time I was eating cereal at like 6am before I went to school. I feel a tickling sensation on my leg, and ended up touching the damn thing. I almost took dump on the chair because there was a 2 inch long monstrosity of a cockroach on my leg.
This other time I saw a gigantic spider sitting near the garage door opener. I threw a phonebook (yellow, not white) at it. I think it may have been a brown recluse.
