That depends on whether Fostex International would follow the decision. Currently there is no relevant information on the English site so it's an importing thing for now.
 
Also note the sale is yet to start (I should have written it, sorry), expected late May. Will keep you posted if Fostex International moves or online distributors for importing become available.

Nice review, found this helpful. As it seems you have the same preference for bass as I do I'd love a comparison to the DT1770's and they sound similar to the TH-X00's. In that they are more of a neutral headphone than v shaped with excellent bass which gets low and slams hard with forward and clear mids.

These ear pads are not Fostex brand but appear to be similar. I have never oredered these, but did buy this sellers velour version of the TH900 pads. They were nicely made and went on my TH500RP easily. Just didn't care for the sound with the velours.

usually this is what they should be, but best to check with multi-meter if you have one available.
red = right
blue = left

Do the TH900 pads have the same mounying clips as the x00? I am hoping so. I sent an email to fostex sales support asking where I can buy the TH900 pads in the usa. I'll see and let all know if I get a reply.
