Exactly my sentiments as well. I have started to get a wall of headphones. Heck, we gotta collect something, might as well be headphones. Hopefully a head-fier will be at my estate sale in hopefully 30 years or more and will have a gold mine.

I am just guessing, but I think the limited production run and the prospect of a relatively quick sell through of these headphones caused MD to be a bit cautious with the roll out of this sale. Also, the HD6XX disaster is probably still fresh in their minds.

Are these semi-closed liked the MkIII or fully closed? Can you use the Vmoda boompro mic with these, I was wondering if this would make it into a nice "headset" for gaming.
