Formula 1 - Championship

alonso is a spoilt little diva who doesnt like the way hamilton has exploded on the scene, taken his limelight, there isnt room for the two duelling egos in that team.

reminds me of van halen.

hamilton is a natural talent, but just doesnt have the career/life experience to do that justice yet.

That's funny - divas in motorsport.

They get paid millions of dollars to drive the best cars in the world, surrounded by people who fawn over them - no they're just regular people!!!

Alonso has proven that he's fast - and perhaps a little petulant, but I don't care - Kimi deserves a win. Hamilton needs to do his time - he's not that good, yet.

Maybe a big spill in corner one and McLaren and Ferrari are taken out - that'll be a decent race.

To be fair, they [the teams] were all fined, 15000 euro iirc.

Hamilton has a great chance of winning the championship now, good to see Webber qualifying high up.

Should be a really interesting start.

hamilton is under investigation, ferrari complained that he blocked kimi in qualifying,

hamilton escaped several penalties which would have been easly given to any other pilot, and i didnt see alonso charging against trulli or fissicela when they they would win a race when alonso was in renault, if hamilton wins this championship, its becuase he was given the championship, not becuase he worked to do so,

personaly, i think ecchelstone and mosley need to go and bring in some young blood, the fia needs new managment, one that runs it like a proper sport, not a mafia or an elite clubhouse,

I voted for Kimi just because it would be a nice upset to the whole F1 typicalness. Yes, Hamilton is on course to make history, but he's #1 of the the traditional 2 person contest for the title. I will really have to see about how to best watch it. The commentary on speed channel is just plain bad compared to ITV's, so it's either watch it live on speed channel or wait to download the ITV cast and risk accidentally finding out who won before I can watch.

Either way, it'll be great!

It has become a clubhouse. If (or by design, when) Hamilton wins the championship, the comparisons to Senna, Schumacher, etc. will be intolerable. Hamilton is nowhere close to being in the same league yet.
