A friend of mine, a former Sony V600 victum, finally got his V6's in the mail today which I blindly recommended to him since everyone seemed to think they were a good pair of closed cans on the forums. Infact, I even have a bit of praise from him, taken driectly from the IRC query we were having after he had them on for 20 minutes:

and will die for them is it's functionability

my V500's are just as functional, buy those instead and save half the price
and listen to ****ty sound as well!


The Dj1200's are much much better and better built and fucntional
butt

yes the Midbass is really really pumped up
it's pretty deep as well

i'd say if you want to beat match only... and like functionability
the 1200's are the best for that

but for everything else closed cans...

when i'm spinnin' and scratchin' and beat matchin' i use my v6s. fast, clean, accurate. "dj" phones can piss off.
