I've had this CD since it came out in 2002, long before I started getting into headphones. I had been listening on car CD players, a Sony boombox, and consumer-grade bookshelf systems. I thought I knew the album pretty well, but giving it another listen on some more refined equipment has been an ear-opener. A lot of it has been like hearing it for the first time. Confirmation of my theory that it's not just quality gear that "makes it sound better," but for me, a big part of it is that having and using quality gear reminds me to listen more carefully, more intently. I like to think I'm very sensitive to sound and music, but I'm always shocked at how easily I can tune it out and not catch the full experience of it.

This chain is a no compromise desktop Hifi experience that's transportable. Could not be more pleased with the WA8! Seeing those mini tubes glowing in such a small package that I can pickup in my hand is wild.

Appreciating some of Richard Wright's soulful keys on this one tonight... RIP.
Lovely warm imaging from the biodynas, suits the ambient pyschedelic tones perfectly.
