For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

On the Tanchjim zero

Wistful pop, rather neat.

Maybe this? Experimental percussive soundscape. Pretty neat.

Thanks for the rec! I'll check it out in a few. I enjoy some of Vinnie's other work, but I don't think I've heard this one yet. 👍😎

This afternoon I've got the Yanyin Mahinas running off my Cayin N8ii. I've only had them for a couple weeks, but I think the Mahinas have secured themselves a spot in my mid-fi tribrid rotation for the foreseeable future. Between them, the Shozy Magmas, and my venerable Dunu EST 112s I think I've found everything I need to cover all the genres I listen to and to cover them extremely well. The Magmas give me the rumbly bass and relaxed, darker presentation. The Mahinas have a musical presentation with very nicely tuned treble. Last but not least, the EST 112s have that prototypical Dunu sound with great dynamics and articulate/agile low end punch without being overly boosted.

On deck in my queue is the new album from The Dandy Warhols, ROCKMAKER. This album has only been out for a few days so I haven't listened to it yet, but I generally enjoy TDW's quickly lyrical themes and stripped back indie/garage rock roots style. I think the sarcastic often unserious lyrics these guys employ causes many to overlook their music. No, it's not the most complex, but it's very nicely executed and they're one of the bands that really popularized the melding of alternative and indie rock, creating one of the dominant styles associated with the indie rock sound in the 21st century and influencing countless bands in the process. I've been listening to this band since I was a kid and I'm interested to see what direction they've taken their new album. 👍😎

With a late start to the week, I bring out my FT5's.
And I am starting the day with lots of Alice in Chains.

Spending my morning being interrupted trying to listen to this classic post hardcore/screamo album in the office… my friend mentioned he hadn’t heard their stuff before and so the urge to listen to this for the billionth time came over me.

Minnie Riperton 🕊️ - Baby, This love I have
Ezra Collective - Dark Side Riddim

Sweet Moonwalking Baby Jesus this song sounds glorious! Love me some Minnie Riperton, her voice was Angelic and she hit high notes like none other... Only Mariah Carey came close..

And the always Funky Ezra Collective.. Something upbeat for your Tuesday!!

AüR Audio Alita + HIBY FC6
Bonneville got shipped to my friend so I can focus on reviews, got this Alita back in loan trade. Warm and forgiving with very good technicalities, perfect for late night sessions.

Playing some ambient contemporary electronic classical.
