Glorious Fool (1981) by John Martyn - Some laid back musical genius for a very, very late night. I find it impossible to pigeon hole the late, lamented John Martyn, as the genres blur from song to song. I first heard him on the John Peel radio show but what really made me a fan was seeing him live on The Old Grey Whistle Test on TV, his sound is just unique. The RS-1x are a great pairing with his music, they give it an almost 3D image and great tone too - Awesome indeed!

I do own the 109's. They are now part of the rotation. We have talked about them several times over the last ten days.

I like variety. And for me rolling headphones is liking getting a new headphone every week.

Tanchjim Zero again, this time EQed to the FR of the HD800S but with a bass shelf added. Why I do this to myself I don't know. Now I'm dying for a HD800S. Even just using EQ to replicate it on a cheap IEM, this soundstage is ridiculous. To the point I'll listen to something binaural recording like the ones by Amber Rubarth, and then go to a regular recording and the width is almost the same between them. Can't imagine how much my ears would enjoy the real deal.






Guess that's some motivation for improving my financial situation though so I can get one
