My daughter (elementary school) and her friends were listening to this track recently - my favorite part of the story here is that my daughter suggested I "listen to this on your headphones" 🥲 made her old man proud :sunglasses:

...a beautiful vocal singing clean and true on the ... Focal Clear (OG) | Violectric v280 (FE) | Rockna Wavelight 🎶

Track = Lost Boy

[Blue Note: May, 1960] With Soul Station, Roll Call, Workout, Another Workout, tenor saxman Hank Mobley, my favourite, was in peak form! Such logical, lyrical soloing with nary an excess note 🥲. AND the best rhythm section going…!

Nice one, before I stopped playing sax I worked on some of his stuff. He has a great style with his tenor.
Soulstation is my favorite work of him. Need to take with my a IEM for work now that I like to listen to Jazz with.
Cheers

Amazon Music Unlimited > JRiver Media Center (for DSP) > SMSL SU9 > SMSL SH9 > Denon AH-D7200

On Tour by Jane Getter Premonition - Live album from 2017, so none of the new album is on there but there's still plenty of excellent material. There is quite a line up backing her: Brian Beller and Stu Hamm on bass and Chad Wackerman on drums are the main standouts. This is jazz-rock played extremely well by musicians at the top of their game, it's a very good listen, I just want there to be a new live album with the best tracks from Anomalia added - that would make me exceeeeeedingly happy.
Stuck with the SMSL stack for details and the Denons for the low end grunt and nice mids. :darthsmile:
