Just bought a new tablet, Lenovo Tab M8 3rd gen, just for casual hand held reading/surfing. Testing its audio with Tidal/Pat Metheny Group /First Circle/If I Could. Headphones: Sennheiser PX-100 1st gen out of 3.5mm output. Not bad sound, good clarity, not a lot of volume in this config but it does LDAC with the BTR 5 so should be an improvement when I hook that up.

UAPP mode update: Hooked the new tablet up via USB OTG (USB C/USB A cable to OTG cable with USB A female to USB B-mini male) to Meridian Explorer2 DAC. Then line out of Meridian to Schiit Loki-Mini, then into Schiit Magni 2 Uber amp on Hi-gain. Cans are HD-6XX with Custom Cans Mod using bored foams.

Wow, this little inexpensive tablet running Android 11 is a fine streamer and does USB-C out from UAPP like a champ, and the UAPP Tidal MQA plug-in is working solidly.

Amazing. I can see why you use this Album for testing. I've never heard it before. The cymbal and percussion work on Mourning Grace is incredible. Thanks for sharing. that song has my K1000 approval.
