Tonight I'm using my AKG K140. I put them on the other day after not listening to them for a few weeks and was like, these sound great. Lol. So they've been my choice the past few days.
Grado RS-1x << HeadAmp Gilmore Lite II (+ p/s/u) << Mojo Audio Mystique DAC << Audiolab CDT-6000: [Capitol: July, 1968.] Another of the best debut albums.
Clear MGs > MHA150 / Ian Anderson - Walk Into Light (vinyl)
what a waste of good vinyl. terrible collection of songs. I may never listen to this again. Part of my self-imposed journey of my collection from A to Z.
New Tull "Zealot Gene" is ok, good but not spectacular. It could use some Martin Barre who remains MIA. Like his long ago lyric, perhaps Ian is 'too old to tock 'n roll" even if too young to die.

Tull is one of my fave all time bands. first concert I ever saw back in '73. But IMO, they lost it after Heavy Horses. Very spotty to downright bad since then.
Martin is anything but MIA. He's been touring on his own since he left JT and take my word for it, he is amazing!!! Seeing him in a few weeks for about the 10th time in the last 4-5 years. He has played at Daryl's House Club a bunch of times. I'm the house photog there so I haven't missed a show!!!!
