For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

I would consider the HD660S2 an HD600 with a little added musicality speckled into the sound (a little of HD650 flavor added to it).

That's exactly what I thought about HD660S2 after hearing them for the first time several weeks ago.

JRiver Media Center > SMSL SU9 > SMSL SH9 > Denon AH-D7200

Safety in Numbers (2006) by Umphrey's McGee - Giving the Grados a (grudging) night off and I fancied sticking with wood cups, so the Denons are it. Considering that the Denons are the polar opposite of the Grados, it didn't take my braincell long to adjust, maybe ten minutes or so and I was dialled in. Even though they are bass heavy and the highs are somewhat rolled off, they still carry a good amount of detail, which comes in handy when listening to UM, as there's usually a lot going on.

This morning I’m basking in nostalgia, using my 6XX’es out of the Bottlehead Crack for a vintage sound, and listening to…

Giles Martin has done an amazing remastering of this album! Imagine if the Fab 4 travelled forward in time to a modern recording studio to create Revolver. The music is exactly as you remember. Except it sounds like it was recorded yesterday. Wow is all I can say! Thanks to @RCBinTN for mentioning this.

Continuing on with the White Album…

Volume 3 is a real hidden gem, The Esher Demos. Here’s a Rolling Stone article explaining why this is the last time the Beatles were really enjoying being the Beatles.

Acoustic, laid back, relaxed, actually enjoying each others company and making music, fantastic and not to be missed for true fans!

Have not listened to this in a month or so, so rectifying that error right now.

Double checked, this is jazz fusion, not prog-whatever, so my no-prog rule is holding up strong. ,😁
