Thick as a Brick holds a special place for me, really got me into prog. rock as a teen even though some would debate applying that genre label to this one of a kind classic.
BTW are the SR325e less bright than the other Grado's you tried or are they also quite bright, just accomplishing that sound signature better than other models?
I loved the hemp, but i wanted a classic grado tuned headphone. So I had tried the SR80e (loved the excitement but it was too shrill), GH3 (too warm, sort of bland), sr225x (reminded me of a lesser hemp) but the sr325e has the excitement of the sr80e but it’s more refined. So it’s bright as hell, and fun as hell, but it doesn‘t give me a headache lol.
50 Cent- Get rich or die trying / CD
Bowers & Wilkins P5
One of the best hip hop albums of all time. The hooks are great, and Dr Dre’s legendary production all over this.. wonder if he used beats to mix it? (Ha ha It’s a joke, i dig my wireless solo!)
Silent Planet- Iridescent // cd
HifiMan Sundara
The Sundara (and I assume planars in general) shine with modern production techniques. The sub bass, layers of instruments, and the electronic touches really come through so well on these headphones.
The Offspring- Smash // CD
Grado Hemp
One of my first albums I had growing up. I wanted to play something that i was very familiar with, and this is definitely that. I think the songwriting is top notch.
