I haven't given much thought to that, I think that the K340 has a wider stage and is more detailed, mine don't have the bass presence of the HD600, the K340 is a bit leaner, not that bass isn't present.

The K340 is a larger room, the HD600 is a smaller more intimate room.

I don't EQ, I just like things the way they are.

Since I really haven't had them all that long, I have no real favorite between the two.

I really like them with the amps they are paired to.

I'm partial to my lovely Grado's... I listen to them the most.

Great group, got to see them live not to shortly after Dusty died. But that album is poorly remastered. Way too much reverb. Go back to the original albums for better sounding recordings.
