Pulled the trigger on the HiBy R8 IIThanks.
Both are good choices, reviews from the SP3000T is very positive. Getting tubes on the go is also a cool thing.
I guess the downside of A&K being that the OS is locked
Had plenty HIBY models over the last year (damned audio upgrade chase)
Been solid experience without problems, I have grown to become a HIBY fanboy.
AüR Audio Ascension + HIBY R8 II
Had my Ascension for repair after a accident, back again. Was to excited over their new flagship instead since both where shipped together, bit since I'm landed now it Ascension time. Missed the sound of these, sort of analoge and textured sounding tribrid.
Back on trying some new releases, just heard trough this one.
Quite good and interesting, starts with a instrumental intro track and then moves more into rock/metal. Track Albert is very different but cool, fair to say it's alot of variety here.

Human (2019) by Darkwater - I'm blown away with this band from Sweden I just discovered tonight. They play melodic prog-metal and play it really well, no annoying harsh vocals, just really good clean vocals and great musicianship, along the lines of Symphony X, Dream Theater and Evergrey. They have four albums on Qobuz with the earliest being a 2006 release and I've been listening to them for the past few hours, when I should really have been in bed. The music suits the DT1990's perfectly with the strong, driving bass/kick drum, it's hard not to grin like an idiot!

Many years ago I heard “Re: Stacks” on my local indie radio station (KEXP.org- a legendary institution), and I was practically moved to tears. I had no idea what had just hit me.Bon Iver has some of the best song writing I've come across in the indie/folk - indie/rock genre.
Bon Iver has continued to stretch my concept of beauty in music ever since.
Listening to “Michicant” right now with my Walkman WM-1A, Norne Audio SX-8, and ZMF Atrium Closed. Just lovely.
