It’s odd to think back to just a few years ago when I wasn’t into headphones yet and didn’t care enough to distinguish IEMs from earbuds. Now this is my preferred work rig. Wish I had done this years ago, but I had limited myself to earbuds cheap enough that I wouldn’t care much if they were lost or mangled at the gym.

The Big Prize (1986) by Honeymoon Suite - I've been on a nostalgic tour of the 80's tonight with Van Halen, Dokken and now Honeymoon Suite. This album was always a big favourite of mine, it's so full of really good songs and ok, some have dated a bit but not my favourite of them all: All Along You Knew featuring none other than Ian Anderson and his magic flute, it's one very classy number. Giving my Asgard 3 a runout before the Violectric gets here next week (gods willing) and they, like the V222 add some warmth to the signal provided by the ES9038pro powered SMSL SU9 DAC. The Sennys just bring it all together and make it sound damned good.
