Great evening jazz with that 70’s sound, like that this album is only 5 songs but they jam ‘em out!
Focal Elex’s in use tonight, doing the music justice.

[Epic: released October, 1971.] This is the second Jeff Beck Group - after that with Rod Stewart, Ronnie Woods, etc. I have not listened to this in 'eons'. There is some group 'gelling' evident; but this album has much to offer. The musical chops: there! The compositions: interesting! Produced by: Jeff Beck! (...well?)

Heavy Machinery (1996) by Anders Johansson, Jens Johansson and Allan Holdsworth - Been playing It Bites albums for the last few hours and have now switched up to some solid fusion from this amazing trio before hitting the sack. The trio are Jens Johansson on keyboards, his brother Anders on drums and the deity known as Allan Holdsworth on guitar and sparks really fly when Jens and Allan start jamming. I've been using the RS-1x all night and saw no reason to change as they are ideally suited to the music, besides, they have probably become fused to my ears by now.

Tejas Customizable Artwork – ZZ Top Official Store

Trying to wake up this Sunday morning and Haley Reinhart just wasn't cuttin' the mustard. My "Little 'ole band from Texas" is more like it! Nothing like a little ZZ to get the blood flowing. Growing up and living in Texas I saw ZZ Top a lot over those years. ALWAYS a good show and never got tired of seeing them. I absolutely lean more towards their bluesy earlier stuff and this album nods to that, while serving as a fine bridge to their newer sound to come. To do them justice I pulled out the inexpensive Grado 60x and plugged into the Qudelix K5 so I could dance if I wanted. Grado's do guitars very good and are just what was needed for Billy Gibbons on the strings. Hope I don't spill my coffee. What a way to wake up!!

Listening now too CP54E + HIBY R8 and the album Interloper, ambient electronica. Nice when relaxing on a silent Sunday.
