For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Somewhere in Southeast Asia, on the eastern rim of the Asiatic Mediterranean, time traveling and reliving the good ol days...

This is a great album
I like how they stay true to the Allman Brothers type of sound. Allmans were one of my all time favorite bands, especially in concert. I live near Great Woods in Mansfield Ma and they played and recorded some awesome shows there. Miss them big time!

Oh oops, hope my post didn't come across as a long time follower of that band. I only heard em - and loved - only after your recco. Finished the two albums 2 decades apart and then saw one from this year. I quite relished that one too. Heard a few of them back to back again - as in one from previous year and one from this. Basically this afternoon been spent with them, courtesy you and enjoyable one at that. Thanks! Would definitely like being in a session to see how the creativity branches out in the moment. Cheers!

I'm glad to have turned you on to The Mars Volta! 🤘😎 The best part about TMV to me is that you never know where they're going next. They just have so many different styles and techniques in their musical and production arsenals that they can sound completely different from album to album, track to track, and even verse to verse and yet somehow when you hear their music you know you're hearing TMV. I hope their 2022 reunion lasts and bears more fruit so we get more albums in the years to come.

Listening to the ThieAudio Prestige LTDs being driven by my Hiby RS6 which is serving up all my favorites from local FLAC and Qobuz. The LTDs and the RS6 go together like peanut butter and jelly.

On deck for me musically is a 2017 release from Leprous entitled Malina. Just a solid prog-metal album that has a certain low key feel to it that makes it a solid pick for listening while I'm chilled out on my bunk in the back of the tour bus relaxing while I try to get my head to turn off for long enough to get a decent nap in. My insomnia has been terrible lately so I'm really starting to get a bit rundown. Regardless, I always enjoy listening to a good band lay down some solid tracks. 😎

A blast from the past, I remember hearing this on a mate's Walkman (clone. Sanyo?) , and thinking that this "rap" thing would never last. 40 years later...

Roon/Qobuz => Yggy GS2 => Feliks Audio Espressivio => RS1x

Recommended to me by @BobG55. Great sound production (Steely Dan like :relaxed:). One of the best albums I've heard in a long while. Thanks Bob!
