The only interesting title to me on Playstation is the Gran Turismo series, nothing on any other system comes close to it. But even Gran Turismo doesnt make PS3 worth $600 to me.
For those awaiting PS3, something to tide you over.

I do find the idea of $600 for a PS3 being too much to be rather funny, considering that people here spend more than that on a pair of headphones
But I still agree, $600 for a video game console is quite a lot considering the price of the competition (and the price of consoles in the past). Plus, I don't want to deal with all the problems that plagued the early models of the PS1/PS2. Wii all the way

For anyone waiting to see if blu-ray is succesful, a chip has been developed that alllows for playback of both blu-ray and hd-dvd.
