That JVC is pretty cool, but what is a "Compu Line?" lol

Compu-Line was a method of tethering it to other parts of a JVC system so you could control everything together with one remote, if I recall correctly. Onkyo has a system like this as well.

I actually have an XL-P70, including the dock and remote control.

Heh, this is dacks99uy's album (that's his eBay name)

Heheh... "Prevents digital jitters." Oh no, I think my PCDP has come down with a case of the jitters!

'Scuse the noob, but I found an interesting site for all you vintage PCDP lovers (contains Japanese text):
http://yackdb.s138.xrea.com/htmlmb/makerlist.html

Pick a manufacturer, select a model, and you can see what those PCDPs have been going for (in Yen) on Japanese auction websites, and how often they are up for (re)sale.

I really need to find a good and cheap PCDP. I have an only Panasonic player which sounds decent, but I doubt it is regarded with audiophile praise. I have been scouring ebay for some sony players, but nothing really pops up. Anyone have any suggestions where else to look?
