One awesome guy has ported projectm (i.e. milkdrop) into foobar. Panel support (i.e. columnsui) will hopefully be added in the near future. Here's the hydrogen audio thread:

UPDATE: The above link still works for foobar 0.8 and there is now a dll for panel support, but the panel version only works with 0.8, NOT 0.9.

Note: I didn't need to do anything in the Requirements section for it to work, but you're results may vary.

I've been using milkdrop with foo_vis_bacon for over a year now.

I have the newest stable/complete release of Foobar2k - v09.4.3 and unfortunately *neither* of these plugins work for that version.

Is the only way to get these plugins to work, is to use an older Foobar version?

Cool. I put it in Components folder for Foobar2k, and there seems to be absolutely no way to "run" this vis. Am I missing something?

Try foo_vis_shpeck - it lets you use any Winamp visualization plugin in F2k.

You use a fake install basically, I'll post a download link in a few minutes...

Download this, extract it to your Foobar2000 directory, point Shpeck's Winamp directory to your F2k directory as well, and it will work. You will have to download any presets you want for MilkDrop2 yourself.
