Hey people,
-New to the forum and without much audio knowlege or experience i was wondering if a Focusrite Saffire 40 interface had enough juice to properly drive my headphones. (Beyerdynamic DT 880 pro 250ohm)
I am planning on buying the interface to help build my recording gear. i was hoping this interface would "kill two birds with one stone" and i wouldn't have to buy a headphone amp also, the amp being a JDS labs objective 2 amp.
I have included the specs of the headphone outs from the Focusrite Saffire 40, this information comes from the Focusrite webpage. unfortunately i am not sure how to read this information.

Headphone Outputs

  1. Frequency Response 20Hz-20KHz +/- 0.1dB
  2. SNR 109dB "A"
  3. DNR 109dB "A"
  4. Maximum Output into 32R +12.4dBu (+10.2dBV)
  5. Power into 32R 250mW
  6. Output Impedance < 7Ohms
  7. Load Impedance > 24Ohms

Any help is greatly appreciated!

So, i purchased the focusrite pro 40 recently and it does drive the 250ohm dt 880 pros headphones very well, just for anyone that might have also been interested.
