Volot is already an internally mono block setup.

Recently got a FA 10. Just wanted to comment. I'd been using an Audeze Deckard before this for a while. This is a little different in presentation.
The dynamics on the Flux is great. It is just a little bit sharp sounding coming from Deckard but damn this thing has a super impressive dynamic punch to it and is at the same time super nimble and quick on its feet. Very detailed and bass has a lot of control. Mis are rich and vivid. I find it just a touch bright but I can adjust. I read some reviews which seemed to make me think it would have a smoother top end but i don't think it does any major rounding there.
Really impressive amp - it deff combines a ton of clarity with power and body and excellent details - the sound separation is excellent and stages the headphones better than anything I've owned - and it's fun to listen to as well.

Yeah, it'll help to have a r-2r source like a Soekris dac2541 on the FA-10 for that top-end compensation.
The one weird thing to me, the gains don't seem to make that much of a difference on the amp. Like I can run my HE6SE in low gain mode, turn down just a bit and in medium gain, down just a bit again and high gain. Any mode and about 3/4 on the amp is the sweet spot on the 6SE - just a few notches down as you switch up gain.
So I'm thinking maybe it's just that last quarter of the wheel that gets insanely powerful quickly and that the gains themselves aren't all that different.

I love this thing.... The bass is so good and impactful. PRAT is amazing. It is a really fun and aggressive amp. But also mids are warm and lush too. Excellent detail on top of all those dynamics. Separation and imaging is excellent.
I really am loving what this does to my headphones - makes listening so engaging - my kind of amp - head bobbing, toe tapping!

Do you think the fa-10 has enough power to fully drive HE-6?I love this thing.... The bass is so good and impactful. PRAT is amazing. It is a really fun and aggressive amp. But also mids are warm and lush too. Excellent detail on top of all those dynamics. Separation and imaging is excellent.

I don't have HE-6 but I have HE-6SE V2 and it has more than needed. It has oodles of power and drives everything I have with authority.
It says it does 16 watts into 32 ohms which is amazing power for a headphone amp.
You do twist up into high gain and spin the knob a good bit but it ramps up loudness really fast as you crank above 70%.
I wish I had a HE-6 to try with it!
