Expect: Lots of pictures of drunk people and the sober people around the drunk people who are amused by the drunk people.

Expect: Impressions of beer, wine, food, liquor, and women.

Do not expect: Any talk of gear, until at least Monday. If anyone asks "Did you compare x piece of gear to y piece of gear", I'll personally dislike you for the rest of forever.

Thank you, that is all.

Nice try, Dom. Actually, the cool kids are still alive and kicking in 305, and here are some pics from the evening's festivities. I am far too tired and under the influence of legal substances to label or describe these, but thought worth posting for the amusement value ...

Oh, did I mention we played Rock Band after a night on the town?

It looks like we all survived. About 6 of us are up and getting ready a trip to Bananas, pics to follow.

The Willet Rye was excellent!

The Jades in person look to be a big improvement in terms of looks and build quality compared to the 1.2b. We didn't have any rigs set up so impressions and comparisons will have to wait until later.

Now the search for some good coffee, or Starbucks if nothing else can be found.

Great pics!!

Wow, it never occurred to us to play Rock Band or run around town terrorizing the locals at our meet. We just listened to cans. We have to get more serious next time. Obviously, you FLA people know how to do it!

They're a bunch of nut cases. Scary people, I can tell you that much.

Mike is right about the fit and finish of the Jades. Extremely nice, IMO, or at least well beyond my expectations for a start up company. Right up there with anything I've seen from Stax. If they sound as good as they look and feel, I'm sure I'll own a pair one day.

Now to crawl out from my hovel and find the other lunatics.

You can't say these things without pics! No pics, no proof!
