These look very interesting to me and according to Russian reviews, the open version is near Sennheiser HD650 level which at less than half the price would be tremendous value - so has anyone actually heard them?

Have not heard them, but yeah, reviewers rate them high, the Titans are also considerd very good, better than the ath-ad700 russian people say, and they cost 70$ (+20$ shipping, from russia).

FA-002 are open, FA-003 are closed, that's the only difference i see between them, but it's likely that the FA-002 are the ones referd to as "better than the hd650"

I was close to pulling the trigger on them myself but I also drool about the initial report on the Audeze LCD-2 (yeah I know, nearly 4 times as expensive

i ordered the fa-004 a couple days ago. already shipped. we'll see how long it takes to get to the states...
the fa-004 was reviewed by LFF pretty positively.
it's their smaller, closed can. sells for about $80 plus shipping.

I would have concerns about comfort. Headphones that are comfortable for a lot of people are not comfortable for me. The pads looked pretty thin on the 004s. And I'm not trying to downgrade from my Pro 750s
