I'm still very much a headphone/amp noob and wanna make my Ipod/Denon1001 combo even better. I would like to purchase a decent amp in the $100-$125 range (or even cheaper if possible). I listen to all types of music (mostly rock, hard rock, metal) and it was recommended to me on the forum a couple years ago that the D1001's were a good all purpose choice. Now I want to hear even more sound with an amp. I don't think I'll need DAC for now so just an amp should suffice. Hoping I can get some good recommendations.

I've been doing a little reading on here and I'm interested in the iBasso T3. I was looking at these threads:

Any reason I should not go with this amp? It's pretty much in my price range and it's small with decent battery life. And it gets good reviews. Any other suggestions? I guess what I need to know is if the T3 will work ok with my Denon 1001's

I actually increased my budget a little and ordered a Headstage Arrow HE. Thanks again Head-Fi for helping a noob choose
