First job interview tomorrow.
Aug 18, 2010 at 2:24 AM Post #16 of 24
Already been covered here and there, and better late than never, but to sum it all up - if you haven't done so already, you'll need to explain with confidence why you're the best person for the job and nobody else can do it better. Look for any details where you can add "value" to the job, company, and sad but true, making your boss's job easier.

Good luck.

^ what he said

Also for future reference, going back to your earlier posts. Don't cut your hair on the day of the interview. First off its a risk, secondly you atlways look a bit douchey immediately after a haircut, after a few days, it tends to look a bit better, plan slightly ahead from next time.

Send a follow-up thank you email to the interviewer.

DO this for sure ^.....Also Give the man or even a woman a good hand shake and look them straight in the eye with a smile on your face when introducing yourself.....Think 1 sec. before you answer a question, if you can........Make sure that you SAY your very flexible with your hours if they need you.......Good luck big daddy....

If you haven't done it yet, The Monkey is spot on with his (always) good advice. A follow-up email might feel to you a little contrived, but it's definitely worthwhile. Good luck!

Folks are taking this waay too seriously.  This is a job interview for Bob Evens, just a step above MCD.  Most of the mentioned tips wouldn't even apply to OP.

Honestly, if OP can breath, can carry out basic commands and aren't too abrasive, I don't see anything preventing him from getting the job.
