Hello,
How are you?
I am writing this thread because I am going to purchase my first headphone amp and I need some advice.
The amp will be used with an iPod Classic 5th Gen and some Philips Citiscape Uptown Over-ears.
I will probably buy some other Headphones in the future, but they are not in my imidiate plans.
 
I am currently torn between the Fiio E11 and the E12.
Basically, the E11 has a great price and the E12 cost double the amount.
 
My main question, is it worth it to spend double the money for the E12? What will I gain?
 
Please help me out. I am sure many people here have either one of the Fiio's or even both.

I have been reading some more things.
I see I can get a Fiio E17 that is both a DAC and an Amp and use it as an amp with my ipod and as a DAC and Amp with the computer.
 
Regarding the E17 as an amp with the Ipod, how does it compare to both the E11 and E12?
