Changes and improvements about new Android APP are as follows :
1. Added a new theme: Technology (can be enabled in Settings -> Theme -> Custom background);
2. Upgraded the BT device control center to a brand new one(now called FiiO Control);
3. Added sorting by year;
4. Added support for DLNA-Emby service in Media Server(Emby/UPNP/SMB protocols are now supported);
5. Added Now Playing list in the Media Server playback menu;
6. Added new options: Max Volume Lock and Allow background Activity (can be set in Settings -> USB output);
7. Fixed the issue where the volume control would not work for some tracks in D2P output mode;
8. Fixed the issue where the DSD tracks might not be played properly (only white noise can be heard) while the Exclusive USB audio access mode is turned off;
9. Miscellaneous improvements on performance;

How to update the FiiO Music app in mobile phone:
Search and download FiiO Music in the App Store on your device!

How to update the FiiO Music app in players:
Set the device to storage mode and connect to computer, drag the downloaded FiiO Music (.apk) to the device. Then disconnect the connection and enter ES file explorer/file manager, find the FiiO Music app in internal storage/sd card and click install.

DSD file could be supported in FiiO Music app. Which device are you using? Is it DSD256 file?
The other two formats could not be supported by FiiO Music app currently. But we will report to the engineer to assessing the ability of adding the support.

I'm not sure if below problem is connected to new FiiO Music build, but after update Multifunctional button on M17 stopped to execute predefined actions.
I've tried most of them, noone works anymore.

UPD: work only predefined function in 'global', the long pressed 'quick' action does not work as i described above.

The .dff is a philips dsdiff file. read as dsd by foobar.
The wavepack and multi channel dsd i hope are implemented as soon as possible, right now i am forced to use another app to read those. And i would prefer to use pure mode.

Hi, I've updated the version in my X7 mkII and doesn't work. When the app starts I see the Fiio Music logo for minutes and after the apps crashes. Besides I try to install the oldest version 3.4.3 and fails when installing..
Summarizing. Now I've made a Fatory reset and have the first version of the Fiio music app..
Any advice?

Finally I've installed the 3.0.5 version and works fine with this version. But still have the problem with the new version.

Please try to clear the data for the app from system settings- -apps- FiiO Music app-store -clear data. Then restart the FiiO Music APP. Does the issue still remain?

For .dff, i don't have a sample file small enough to upload here unfortunately. But it's a rarer format, and priority to multichannel DSD and wavpack is more important

Anyone have an idea how the disable the scrolling lyrics, and songwriters in the FiiO music app? I always liked just having the Album Title displayed in the area below the album artwork and the song bitrate info (inside the yellow lines). Now there is an arrow (>) after the album title, and it scrolls through album title, then songwriters, then lyrics, with a few Chinese characters thrown in!
