Right now, my main setup is MacBook (Aiffs and Wavs)>Fiio E10>Beyer DT770Pro-250. I'd like to upgrade my Dac (and amp) before getting new cans, so right now I'm looking at the Firestone Fubar line, and the Schiit Bifrost. Obviously, these Dacs are in completely different tiers. Right now, I could afford the Firestone and a little amp to go with it (recommendations welcome!). However, I can't cough up the money for the Schiit at the moment. But, I might be able to by Feb/March next year. So my question is, do I buy the Fubar now, or is the Bifrost worth waiting and saving for? (Bifrost amp recommendation needed!) My next set of cans will likely be the AKG K550/1 or the Beyerdynamic T70/p.
