Bogdan made these pigtails for me for my 4.4mm cable to use on the SP2000. They look fantastic.88132164_2901928533184288_339228418392457216_n.png

I agree...they're awesome. My 4.4mm to 3.5mm adaptor is identical. My earphones, however, are probably different than yours...call it a hunch. I'm a lifelong Portland Trail Blazer fan, so I had them done in a sparkly glossy black finish with the Blazer logo on each side under the Fir & M5 logo. I'm not sure if they needed it, but I just finished burning in the earphones, cable & adapter for 60 hours...I'M READY!! :)

Currently have the fitear est, and elysium with me. Elysium is very thick in the mids, but the presentation is neutral as hell which kinda emphasizes the slight v shape of the M5s. Mids are much thicker, layered, and detailed. Really makes the m5 sound thin in that department. The DD mids are a masterstroke by VE. Haven't heard any as good as these in a long time. Treble quality and character are quite the same.

The est is a baby m5 for 1200 usd. Very, very enjoyable. Same tonality, with smaller stage and more shallow depth. The treble isn't on the same level of detail and sparkle, but it's smooth as silk and still quite detailed. Bass is tight and controlled, and doesn't offer you slam however. Ah the world of iems is exciting again. So much out there to try

The elysium and M5 are such good complemental IEMs, i May pull the trigger on them.

Do it. No regrets my friend. Literally the perfect pairing. Technically, the two can go blow for blow. Really just the presentation and difference in positioning of the mids that's different. Oh and the bass

Looking to get a Fir M3 for my next custom, anyone here have experience with it? Also, what's the production time on these?

Messing around with the designer, doesn't look like there's an option for a clear shell? Somewhat a bummer because that's my favorite shell design.

When i had asked Bogdan back in December about clear shells he said they don’t offer it because of the dampening material they use inside, and it doesn’t look that well.

Ahh I see, thanks. Do you happen to know what their production time for a custom is?

Waiting for my M5 universal to arrive this afternoon or tomorrow. Excited!

Too bad the cable provided for universals is 3.5mm, no option for 4.4mm.
