Dear friend,

Please try to uninstall the FiiO Music app and use the latest version for checking again: Here is the Android version 1.1.2 FiiO Music app: click here to download.
And you could reset the BTR3 by holding the power button for at least 10s or holding the volume +&- for 5s.

Best regards

I successfully upgraded to ver 1.2, but now I never know when is the battery fully charged. It keeps blinking, while in ver 1.0 it will stop blinking when charging completed. I tried with 2 different chargers n cables, same issue. Anyone else encountered this?

Edit:
The battery life is still in good condition. I just want to make sure disconnect the charger as soon as possible when it is fully charged.

I got my BTR3 a few days ago and no matter what I try, I can't get the Fiio Music app to pick up the BTR3, I've tried resetting the amp countless times, removed the device from bluetooth on the phone and re-added multiple times etc

I'm using an Iphone XS Max with V1.4 of the fiio app, amp is updated to firmware 1.2

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Dear friend,

You were charging the BTR3 in power off or power on status? The red indicator will turn off after fully charged when charging the BTR3 in power off status.

Best regards

I charged it in power off status, then during charging the blue led will start blinking. BUT, it will never turn off after I left it charging for hours. It was normal when in FW 1.0 (will stop blinking after fully charged).

concerning the btr3.

- How many volume steps are there in total?
\_- Is that actually 1db increase per step?

- Can I use all the features of the btr3 with a non-rooted LG V30 smartphone? Most important to me is bluetooth aptx low latency.
\_- Is that aptx low latency feature included with active aptx HD? Or is it so that aptx low latency is only active in the playback of video films?

You can choose which CODEC you want to activate, but you gain nothing by using aptx LL for music playback. Aptx HD on the other hand, supposed to give you a better listening quality by increasing the bandwidth, and the amount of transferred data.

You can change all of the settings using fiio app without rooting your device.

For my BTR3, holding the power button for 10 seconds doesn't seem to reset it. I've tried it both when the device was on and off, and I held it for much longer than 10 seconds, but it would simply turn off or on, respectively. I was, however, able to reset it by holding volume '+' and '-', which is what fixed BTR3 not showing up in the iOS app.

After upgrading my BTR3 to 1.2, the power-on and power-off sounds are now exactly the same. Is this normal? It's rather irritating, because the sound used sounds like it should only be a power-on sound, and now it's harder to tell if you turned the BTR on or off without looking at the LED.
