FiO BTR3-FiiO releases the new firmware 1.2 for BTR3, new added EQ function!

@FiiO, Thanks for the update, it makes BTR3 useful. However there are some issues I've just found.
- Fiio app doesn't display EQ settings properly in split screen mode and the app often crashes in split-screen. The graph at the top of EQ settings is beautifull but excessive, it takes too much room in split screen mode and the edges of it are not properly interpolated. Is it possible to cut it out to make more room for the sliders in split-screen?
- The EQ sliders are not responsive, it's hard to set them to proper positions.

Is it possible to add a few more dends (16, 80, 160, 280). 4 bends is not sufficient to get proper adjustment of bass. It would be nice to have standard 20-band equalizer...

It's needed to highlight main tones (80-210 Hz for men and 150-320Hz for women) and get the cinema deep-voice effect. With current bends if 120 and 250 are set to max, other sounds outside the range are highlighted as well.

Can someone advise why "HWA" is greyed out since the latest update?

I've updated my firmware to 1.2 and I'm running the 1.3.9 version of the IOS app but don't see the menu option for BTR3 anywhere. Is there some trick to get it working? I've updated the firmware a second time, re-paired the BTR3, rebooted, etc.

Dear friend,

We haven't added the support for FiiO Music APP in split screen mode. We have reported to the engineer about that and they will try to have a check in later update.

Now the EQ have 10 bends instead of 4 bends. You could slide left to check the 1K,2K,4K,8K,16K bends.

Best regards

Please develop a way to update the firmware directly over Bluetooth or WiFi from an Android device, not everyone has access to a PC. Thank you.
Dear friend,

Thanks for your kind feedback. Considering the OTA upgrade would take a long time, we don't have the plan of adding this support currently.

Best regards

@FiiO, looking forward to the fix. The idea of my previous message was to have a possibility to isolate and rise 80-320Hz range and +-16Hz. Current bands don't give the possibility to get accurate adjustment of given ranges. 20-band scale would make it possible to a certain extent.
2^(0.5*x) ... Where 8<x<28 (16 22 32 45 64 90 128 180 256 360... 16384). That is one new before each existing. Some say that 16 is the lowest that can be heard by a human being, but the band would affect range 16-20 due to the cross-band interpolation.

I must have found a bug, I shortly mentioned it above. The issue is that edge bands are interpolated to 0, you can see it on the graph. To make correct spline, self values of edge bands should be used Instead of 0. For the first point it should be changed from (0, x1, x2, x3) to (x1, x1, x2, x3) and the same way for the last one. Thus 31.5 band will also affect lower values, which are now suppressed to 0 level. Could you pass it through to the programmers?

Just updated my BTR3 to 1.2 and the ios app to 1.3.9. However the btr3 is not showing in fiio music app. it works fine before.
Dear friend,

Please try to click the reflash button in the top right button, and press the power button of the BTR3 for several time. Wait for 10s or so then you will see the BTR3 in the FiiO Bluetooth control interface.

Best regards

I just notice when I'm using the BTR3 as a DAC to my mac, my iphone is connected via bluetooth, When I unplug, the BTR3 it turns off. Is this a bug or a new feature? Cos it's not very convenient.

Also is this version remove the automatic standby/turn-off feature?
