I love the fact that people from all over the world know many finnish bands that I (and probably most of the finns) have never heard of.

I really enjoy Mokoma, however they sing in finnish so... I still recommend you check them. Very fast and quite hard metal.

Sonata Arctica is great. Poets of the Fall are alternative rock, but also good, and with really nice recording quality.

I love Eleanoora Rosenholm and Risto. But now that i briefly checked Paavoharju and Lau Nau at the iTunes store, they seem pretty amazing too. Fonal is definitely leading the way. 100% recommended.

I own an album from Tyr 'Eric The Red' - Got one from Korplikaani 'Tervaskanto' and one from Wintersun called 'Wintersun' all great stuff. Really if you love metal you would love all of these releases.
