What's your budget or maximum spending limit? Help us help you.

But the easiest way to find a perfect for you is by listening with your own ears--I HIGHLY recommend going to a proper headphone/earphone store (one that has demo units in store)--Listen to all the IEMs' demo units available and see which one fits your taste best.

Sorry forgot about budget, Ideally around $200 but can got a little higher if its worth it. Problem is theirs not a lot of places round here where I can demo most good IEM's. If their is a place then its most likely mainstream things like Beats.

I saw your profile and realized that you own T-PEOS H-100; I'd say for Trance that's about as good as it gets. If your music files are good quality then you're good to go, but if your music files consists of low-bitrate files then you should use your budget to get better quality files.

So basically I recommend you to just keep it and enjoy your music for now; if you insist on finding your perfect IEM, you might want to consider raising the budget to $350-$400 range. I doubt you'll get a vast improvement from your H-100 at around $200 anyways.

We have the same taste in music, IMHO the best IEM for vocal trance that I own or ever heard are...
  1. TF10
  2. W3
  3. H-100
  4. X10
  5. UE700

There is another one with a slightly unique signature, JVC FXZ100, this is also good for vocal trance, but it gives you the sensation of being in the club, standing next to a subwoofer, during Cosmic Gate set, it is a triple-dynamic IEM with the third dynamic driver being a kevlar subwoofer.

this is the thread

...otherwise, TF10 and W3 are probably the stand out two, follows by H-100...

SM3v2 is wonderful for vocals and EDM but I don't know if you can buy it anymore in the US. W3 is also very good. Selling mine because I prefer the SM3v2, but it's in your budget if you're interested.

Just face it. As long as you're on here, you're never going to stop spending and looking for something new.

The best solution is to get off head-fi, keep your current earphone, and just start enjoying music.

I'm going to take a completely different approach to everyone else, and offer an alternative option. if you already own H-100 keep those and amp them, extract everything they're worth using a silver plated LOD or interconnect. When I use C&C BH portable amp on high gain through output2 my H-100 absolutely tear the place to pieces with EDM, they behave rather differently using output 2 on this amp, Sub-bass gains great amounts of impact, detailing and treble almost blows the house down, sounds far fetched but I'm not far from the truth. You gain better control and a smoother presentation.

Would be the best way to spend your money imo, The amp is $100, there's already several happy buyers. Best I've heard H-100, by far.

Here's the thread to check out anyway.

Yeah quick update on this, the H-100's arrived today just as I was on my way out. So I have them with me now and wow...
Blown away by these, thinking about doing this now! My source would be Sony Xperia Arc S, I'm going to get that amp and improve these even more. Just can't wait to get home and give these a better listen to..

You would not be disappointed, I consider the pairing a fairly high energy experience.

Good to see another fanboi of H-100, the most interesting thing about the H-100 is that you either love it, or hate it, there is no in-between...
