I have seen someone mentioned of E1000 at

https://www.head-fi.org/threads/fin...scussion-thread.613641/page-535#post-14565869

and claimed that he does not understand Japanese, thus I am going to help on that.

During Tokyo Headphone Festival 2018 Autumn, the headphone maker of D8000, Sonorous VI, Final (Previously Final Audio Design) from Japan revealing their new entry model of E-series, E1000 which is going to be on sale December 2018.

E1000 is selling with 2480yen (Around 22USD?) and it will come with 3 color options.

E1000 is equipped with the similar 6.4mm dynamic driver of multiple awards winning E2000 but the casing, instead of aluminum, ABS plastic is being used.

According to Final CEO, Mr. Mitsuru Hosoo, E1000 is actually inspired by the feedback from the middle school student users of E2000. While those students trying to recommend their beloved E2000 to their friends, E2000 which cost around 40USD was claimed to be too expensive. While Mr. Hosoo tried to consider the feedback from his own perspective as a middle school student, a 40USD earphone is indeed not a product that can be easily purchased without hesitation.

Without sacrificing the sound quality and the gorgeous design, Final decided to come out with this new cheaper E-series earphone.

According to Final's homepage, the specifications of E1000 are listed as below

Model No. : FI-E1DPLBL(BLACK)、FI-E1DPLBU(BLUE)、FI-E1DPLRE(BLACK)
Casing Material: ABS
Driver: 6.4mm Dynamic Driver
Cable: OFC Black Cable
Sensitivity: 102 dB/mW
Impedance: 16 Ohm
Weight: 15 g
Cable Length: 1.2mm

Actually, yesterday was my first to listen to E2000 at E-earphone Akihabara and as a 40USD earphone, the sound really astonished me. Therefore personally I am really glad that Final decided to push up this cheaper version to let more people be capable to enjoy better sound.

Yeah. I have bought a blue one myself. The sound quality for the price is really good. Very good clarity for Low, Mid and High. Soundstage is wide. Very similar to E2000 and E3000.
The only downside that I notice is if the music goes too punchy, distortion starts to happen. Feel like lack of power.

But for that price range, I consider it to be the best (for me, since I really like Final's sound signature) that I have tried so far.

So they're essentially the E2000s but with with cheaper housing material -> The price is cheaper?[/QUOTE

The spec for E1000 and E2000 are very similar. But when listening to them, I think E2000 is better. I am not sure if it is because of the casing that changes the harmonic properties.
