How would iPhone users update their FW1? Any plans for support with iOS?
Dear user,

Sorry we don't provide the tool for updating the firmware via iOS device because it will take a long long time to update in iOS device.

Best regards

Hi FiiO, I just received my pair of FW1's in the mail today. Listening to them right now as we speak, and was wondering if you'll be offering an app in future by way of firmware updates in the future?

So far so good guys! I definitely needed a better seal on them, so some Comply tips remedied that for me and the sound was much better.
What Comply tips did you buy that will fit these new earphones. Thanks

What happened to FW1 recently? Can't find them selling anymore.

I bought a pair months ago, but didn't use it much. Upgraded the firmware recently from 0.14 to 0.27. It sounded better to my ears. A more balanced mid-fi sound with 0.27. With less ambitious & cleaner bass response (it use to distort on big hits), stronger mids and low treble response. I removed the nozzle filter to tease out a bit more energy. Functionally, I had no issues even on the older firmware. Shame it seem to have stop selling.

Thanks I am good, and sorry if my post seemed like I was looking for a new pair; I was making an observation that FW1 appears to be off the market.

I remembered some TWS users wanting a less bloated bass response. I think FW1, with firmware 0.27, does have a clean-sounding bass to my ears.

First pair of wireless earbuds, decided to go with fiio since mi original X3 still rocking sound quality is great, got them from Amazon.

First sound is good, but... With my phone (blackvue vb9900pro) sometimes the sound "stops" on the secondary earbud I tilt my head a little and it's back again, very annoying.

1. I can replicate this behavior if I put my hands over my ears (without touching the items)
2. Touch controls are terrible.

Updated the firmware from 0.1.4 to 0.27 still same thing, since can't return them I'll see how much they last

Dear friend,

1. Please try to restore the factory restore for your FW1 to check whether it helps?

2.Human body would absorb Bluetooth signal. Since the human body absorbs the2G-3G high frequency signal most strongly, it is necessary to prevent the body from blocking the Bluetooth signal during use. For example, putting your Bluetooth transmitter in your back pocket and put your Bluetooth receiver on your chest will seriously affect the Bluetooth transmission. Therefore, please try to putthe Bluetooth receiver and transmitter on the same side of your body to avoid signal blocked by your body.

Best regards

Yes the signal between earbuds is waeker than I thought any way, seems it got better with new firmware

Drop them while removing it and the back opened... They still function so probably I'll glue them and keep using it
