Hi. After years of loving my X5ii I thought I'd try something else and picked up a used X7 with AM3 for a good price. Been playing around and am struggling to get my 256gb microSD I used in my X5ii to work on the X7. My 128gb cards work fine but I could do with the space with only having a single slot. Does anyone know if this is a firmware thing, and which I should be on to use bigger cards, or is it a card thing? I'm confused if it's the card as its worked fine on my X5ii for years and still does. Any help or advice appreciated.

OK - so my last comment was wild and crazy and probably nothing anyone is interested in, so I'll rephrase.
FiiO replied to me on this subject and said that max microSD size is 128gb, although reading through all (well most of) the comments on this thread I can see others having success with larger cards:
@RebeccaSugar - 1tb Sandisk
@muscleking - 512gb Lexar
@JSBachFan - 400gb Sandisk
@CH23 - 400gb Sandisk
I have a couple of 128gb Integral that work fine and a 256gb Integral that is not recognised. I'm playing with the 256gb to see if I can get this to work (checked it's MBR and not GPT already) but so far no luck.
Would be good to hear of others experience with microSD cards over 128gb as to what works and what has issues. I really need a bigger card if I'm gonna continue to use the X7 so any responses are very much appreciated.

It could have to do with power consumption.OK - so my last comment was wild and crazy and probably nothing anyone is interested in, so I'll rephrase.

When I first had the X7, it would not read cards I formatted from my computer, so I formatted them using my first gen X5. that always worked.
I only use SanDisk µSD cards because they seem to be made to last the longest. so far none have failed me.

Yes. I agree. Saying "you're on your own" would be fine for me if we know what to buy. @FiiO Please add the specifications for the battery: physical dimensions as well as electrical parameters. Please. And thank you.

I wonder if anybody has this kind of issue. Every time when I start the system with my IEM(UM Pro 30) plugged in, the system just immediately got frozen. A re-start can solve this problem. But it's just so annoying...My AMP part is AM2a btw.

Did you try a factory restore to check again first?
Best regards
