Hi,

I'm using stock music player and would really appreciate having the possiblity to edit song rating for mp3 and Flac format

And would love that tags support multiple value field (like in foobar2000 with a value separator, for exemple GENRE = Rock; Alternative; MycustomValue) It would be awesome !!!

1: I can no longer replicate this issue, so consider this solved :) This happens when using the folder browsing functionality. I have all my music neatly ordered on the µSD card:
Artist
    -Album
          -Track

When I press the play button next to 'external SD', it will play '1 string strung' because that track title is at the top when ordering all tracks alphabetically.

I believe it should choose a track because of Artist - Year - Albumname - tracknumber

2: see the posts quoted below. i have made bold what is still an issue. strike through has been fixed by your devs. (the screenshots are slightly outdated)

ADDITION: when browsing all tracks, tracks that contain a '/' and are like "AAA/BBB" will be shown under 'B'. DDD/AAA under 'A', et cetera.
if one of these tracks has a space after the '/', it shows up in '#' instead.
tracks starting with Ä, Á, É, are under '#', instead of under 'A' and 'E'.

Dear CH23,

1. This happens when using the folder browsing functionality.
-- From browsing files, the songs would also sort according to their files name but not the track number. You may scan the media library first, then enter album interface to play the songs ording in track number.

2. when browsing all tracks, tracks that contain a '/' and are like "AAA/BBB" will be shown under 'B'. DDD/AAA under 'A', et cetera.

--We would report to the engineers about that.
tracks that contain a '/' -- Do you mean a '/' in the title name of the songs?

3. We will send all the names you provided to our engineers. Those were struck through display well or not?

Best regards

Dear FiiO,

fantôme is indicated as fanto?me

Désoléeee ! ! ! ! is indicated as De?sole?eee ! ! ! !

Maman Adèle is indicated as Maman Ade?le

Mongali / Chez là bas is indicated as Mongali / Chez la? bas

All French accents (ô, é, è, á, à) are substituted with the letter and a question mark.

Hope this helps.

1: when i started using the FiiO X3 (1st gen) I changed all filenames in my library to be in correct order at all time.
The below screenshot shows the filenames of one album, as you can see they will order from first to last track.
When i press the play icon next to the artist 'Air' in folder browsing on the X7, it will play track 12 of their 7th album,
because the TITLE tag starts with Af. Af is alphabetically the first title of all of these songs.

When i press play next to the album 'Moon Safari', it will play track 03, because from that album, 'All I need' is alphabetically the first title.

2: yes, the track titles have a '/' in it.

3: those i struck through display correctly, :)

Track name is not the same as file name. For example in my library track "Red Baron/Blue Max" from "The Glorious Burden" album by Iced Earth has a filename "07 Red Baron Blue Max.mp3" (it's MP3 because it was the only format I was able to buy this album in - don't judge :D) and is sorted under 'B' not under 'R' as it should.

Proper tags, people. Proper tags!

as ClassicGOD said, it's the title, of the track, not the name of the file :)

It can be confusing :)

I take it you're using some application to post?

I prefer the full web version, even on my phone. I'd say it should be in settings?

All,

Can anyone point me to the right direction where I can buy a spare clear plastic cover/housing for the x7? I'm referring to the same housing that came with the unit.

How about and rubber or Silicon housing?

Thanks.
