Pictures have been circulating on Chinese forums for hours
looks pretty much the same as X1 X3K

Okay, like the X1 and X3II, but how does it look to the x5?  Words, no pictures, please.

In the pics the X5K no longer has the X buttons and instead uses the same looking four round buttons in the same position around the wheel as the X1, X3 models.

I see two mSD card slots with no covers and the micro USB port between them.

No pics of the top of the unit so no idea if it has separate headphone, line out, and coaxial out jacks.

The colour looks similar to the gun metal finish on the X3 II.

Unlike the current X5 the screen and wheel are flush with the body and it's difficult to tell the size of the screen compared to the current X5.

There are no boarders around the screen in the pics.

Thanks.  Sounds like it'll be easier in the pocket, the screen being a bit more flush with the body of the unit.

  I was curious, about x7.

I seem to be the first one to observe this, but it does not include a line out?

I mean, i was reading the first page, and it seems that it does not include a line out, nor a coaux out.

From the first post:

"
6, Input/Output interface:

    Micro SD slot  X 2

Micro USB X 1, ( As docking connector too cause we used 11 pins Micro USB )

    3.5mm Line Out/ Coaxial output

Headphone out X 1, the output jack will change from 3.5mm output jack, 4 pin balanced output ( same as ALO/RSA ), depended on the headphone amp module ."

I wonder why i failed to see that line...

Thanks a lot!

It was bugging me if one would consider x7 as an extreme portable, and a great DAC for a home system.

the new docking amp( K5) is under developing and it is compatible with X1/X3ii/X5ii/X7/E17K,  so you can use the K5+X7 as home system.

one more thing, the second screen on the back has been removed cause some fans think it is useless also we need bigger space to implement the wifi/bluetooth antenna, also it may not be a smart way to add so many new features in X7 which is our first Android DAP.

I consider this a very good thing too.

Android is a pretty dodgy android to work with if you edit it at low level programming. Debugging Android can proove to be quite the hard thing to do.

As long as it will sound great and all is good.

I really wish to see the final product and how it will sound like.
