I have recently purchased an X5II and I'm very happy with the overall package.
The idle time is set to the standard 5 minutes. If I let the player in battery mode go into idle (deep sleep?), then I cannot reactivate the unit. A single press yields nothing and a longer press of a couple of seconds also yields nothing. The only way to restart is by holding down the power button for >10 seconds to reset, and then pressing again to power on. I have since upgraded to firmware 2.0 and this behaviour persists.
Attempting to restart when plugged into power makes no difference.
Has this been an issue with other users? Does this sound like a hardware problem?
Thanks for your replies.
