So if you have friends there, they can buy it at that price and ship it here to the US?

Yeah but likely just a few dollars cheaper, not worth saving IMO

4G is 1099 yuan = USD $176 (price in the U.S. = $199)
8G is 1599 yuan = USD $257 (price in the U.S. = $249)

Seem like it's a legit reseller. I have paid RMB 200 deposit to another reseller (they have free gifts for pre-order

) to reserve a unit. We'll see...

So how is it available for sale when FiiO said it's not available yet? This most likely is a counterfeit then,..

Guys, are we going to keep two concurrent threads? I already had the main one here that was opened as soon as the original thread got closed. We need to consolidate the nformation into one thread.

Hi guys I am new here. I am not sure if there is already a date posted here for the Fiio x3 release but they luckily replied to my inquiry.

This is my inquiry: When will the x3 be released? Will be also good for sensitive IEMs? Thanks

FIIO's reply: June or July outside China and you can set the gain to low to pair with sensitive IEMs

Hope this one helps especially for those who are waiting for this! :)
