I have a desktop setup, but recently I've been going out a lot.

I'm going to need a portable set-up and came to conclusion with Fiio X3 or find an audio player that can support external DAC of Fiio e17
 
What set up would you guys prefer?  Any recommendations on an audio player that can handle external DAC?

It should sound at least as good if not better than the E17
