I agree,  my fiio X1 doesn't have half the options of the new one and its fantastic for the price.  I will happily purchase the new one and probably never use the blue tooth.  As long as the navigation and sound are good,  its a win.

On the FiiO product page it says there are two screen protectors included and one applied in the factory. Does the screen protector cover the entire front face of the X1 or just the screen area. I'm wondering because the entire front is tempered glass and could be scratched.

The Hidizs AP60 uses apxt...it's an interesting little player similar to the M3. I don't know if the X1 will ever have apxt.

Actually yes he did address it, the issue is that Fiio uses a Linux based OS and the AptX codec is not compatible with Linux at least for now.

I thought that's what he said.  Perhaps it will addressed in future fw updates.  I believe they said the issue wasn't on their end as well.
