Dear friend,

We are sorry that we may not consider adding or changing because it is not an easy work and may casue other problem.
But we will consider about that in our later product update.

Best regards
Thanks for considering it as a potential future firmware update

Is the Q7 eq still limited to Bluetooth only? I don’t understand this limitation when qudelix 5k and BTR7 work fine on all inputs - it’s unfortunately limiting me from purchasing it as a replacement to my RME and Qudelix 5k as lot of the time I use optical/usb sources
I'm sorry that our previous Q7 did not support the USB side to support PEQ, but we are currently doing technical research in this area, and now it looks feasible.

We will be the first to support PEQ on the USB side in our new product Q15, and we will consider upgrading Q7 if it is technically feasible.

But I must say, these are not yet confirmed, but only technically evaluated, we think it is feasible. :beerchug:

Using 12V/2A iPower X over here. My concern was effect on transients caused by aggressive noise filtering, yet so far I can not detect any negatives. Haven't heard with PL50 so can't compare. iPower is just more practical.

hhhmmmm....am I the only one who can't download the XMOS file??? from - http://fiio-firmware.oss-us-west-1.aliyuncs.com/Q7/Q7 XMOS FW1.09.zip

Nothing happens using Chrome when I click on the link. And when I copy the address and use Edge - the download is incomplete.

EDIT: Tried Chrome Incognito - that did the trick :unamused:

Is remote control volume via the app available?

Anyone had the volume control knob skipping / registering multiple inputs after the firmware update?

Edit: Downgraded back to 1.04 and the issue persists, seems like I may have a hardware fault :frowning2:

Mine is certainly broken unfortunately, RMA’ing.

Here is what the volume knob does when moving backwards and forwards in the same spot:

That doesn’t look broken. If you move it rapidly like that back and forth (not a real use case) small intolerance is expected. My ify gryphon has the same - it’s the nature of the beast small volume control with resistors

* I can’t see so well in the vid are you moving the vol only in one direction? Looks like it’s going back and forth rapidly

Moving it back and forwards, then it double jumps up two. Obviously not a real use case but when in menus it double jumps menu options etc. It wasn’t doing it before but if it’s expected and just some wear maybe I don’t send it back…?
