In USB Mode,
Phoned Mode on.
But it says only PCM 44k on the display, not sure why and if this is normal.

Same for me when I connect I’m in PCM 44K but when I start playing on Amazon music it shows PCM 192K

The last firmware - 1.66
Factory reset didn't help, connecting to another phone (Samsung fold5) didn't help as well.
Now it works only when external power is connected.
The strange thing is it worked in phone mode when I tested all modes right after receiving.

Lol, today I decided to run q15 in portable mode without any success.
Q15 battery is 58%, desktop mode is off, phone mode is on.
I'm getting the attached message.
My phone is Samsung S20+

Please try to enable desktop mode and phone mode to see whether the issue remains?
Our engineer has got to learn about this problem with the Samsung mobile phone. And we will try to improve about that in later firmware update.

One more thing I have noticed - Gain settings are screwed up.
When you
set Low - got Medium
set Medium - got High
set High - got Super High
set Super High - got Super High

Anyone having issues connecting to an iPhone via USB? I’ve tried a number of cables, phone mode is on, and I’ve tried both USB modes. No luck.

USB connection works to a Mac however.

I've had this problem,

My q15 each time you click "next", or select a new track, in each case while another track is playing, there is a pause (which is normal) followed my a clicking/popping sound before it plays the selected track.

Clicking/Popping sound when switching between songs with different bit and sample rate.


I'm using Qobuz (thru the UAPP Android app), but this also happens with Tidal.


Does anyone else have the same issue?

I noticed the current gain on the display didn't match the gain in the settings, didn't compare the volume though.

I tried to reproduce the issue today but failed - everything worked as expected.
The phone reboot or the q15 factory reset somehow solved the issue.

When I open the V1.66 firmware executable, the Fiio Q15 does not appear as connected and therefore I can no longer update

Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong?

Inside the zip file “Q15 XMOS V1.66 Firmware.zip” is a word file.
Did you follow this instructions? It’s very important.
